The local organizing committee is hard at work planning a memorable, once-in-a-lifetime conference. This includes some day trips and excursions. Not all the details are confirmed yet, however we can confirm that there will, of course,  be a day trip to the nearby  Rocky Mountains.  Keep watching this space for updates as trips and tours are announced.

SWSD2020 finalizes a global consultation process that sets strategic priorities for the social work profession from 2020 - 2030. The fully participatory conference features input from: social workers, Indigenous peoples, educators, people who use social services, representatives from marginalized communities, politicians and world leaders who want to contribute to identifying the priorities of the social work profession and find the best possible social solutions.

What Do you think?

Let's start the conversation now.

The purpose of the IFSW International Social Work Conference in Calgary, July 15-18, 2020 is to create a space in which the world's social workers can share and collaborate on social work's global agenda, 2020 - 2030. We want to ramp up the conversation starting now!

What do you think are the most important issues and why? Email us a few lines and a photo of yourself and we'll begin posting this conversation on the website blog and on our social media pages. Email don@SWSD2020.org
